This is what the head of  China medical team get to say.
I am honored to attend today’s medical equipment donation ceremony on behalf of Government of the People's Republic of China.
According to the “Agreement of paired hospital cooperation mechanism between the national health commission of the peoples republic of China and the ministry of health of the republic of The Gambia”signed on February 27, 2024, the government of
the People’s Republic of China agrees to offer a batch of medical
equipment and instruments for the specialties of obstetrics and
gynecology to the government of the Republic of The Gambia. The
medical equipment and instruments will be utilized for
implementing the counterpart support and cooperation project in the
field of obstetrics and gynecology in our hospital.
This batch of medical equipment and instruments include Color doppler ultrasound diagnostic system、Hysteroscopy、Medical endoscopic camera system、Liquid crystal display、Insufflato、Ultrasound doppler fetal monitor and so on. We hope to improve the overall medical level of our obstetrics and gynecology department in a targeted manner through the paired hospital cooperation mechanism, so as to better serve the health of the Gambian people. Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation just concluded in Beijing not long ago.We have reason to believe that after this Forum, China and The Gambia will have more and more cooperation in the field of health.
